Visiting our office during Covid-19
At Eatonville Dental, your safety and that of our staff is our top priority. When coming for your dental visit, the steps we take before, during, and after are all aimed at that goal, mutual health and safety.
What to expect before your visit
1)Screening for Covid 19 symptoms either on the phone or via email
2)When you arrive, we might ask you to wait outside in the hallway or in your car, depending on the ability to maintain social distancing within our office space. Speaking of that, we have replaced our chairs in our greeting area to ones that are easy to disinfect, and decluttered the area.
3)We also ask that only scheduled patients come in to our office, unless underage or needing a guardian.
4) You will be asked to read through a Covid 19 consent form and initial it, preferably electronically.
When you are at the office
1) We will ask you to respect social distancing with other patients if present, and our staff until immediately before the treatment.
2) Please, wear a mask or other customary covering you practise.
3) Hand hygiene is key! You will be asked to remove any gloves you might have and to disinfect your hands with hand sanitizer provided through out the office when you come in and before you leave the office.
4) You will be screened again with one of our staff and your temperature might be measured with contactless thermometer.
5) You are going to notice our staff wearing more personal protective equipment, such as respirators, face shields and isolation gowns, depending on the procedure to be performed.
6) To limit the number of entrances and exits into the treatment room, your visit might be scheduled differently than what you are used to.
After your visit
1) Our infection control protocols are such that everything will be cleaned as if you had an asymptomatic case of Covid 19
2) We will follow up with you within ten days afterwards to ask about any symptoms
